About Dave Taylor Smith: The Morning Show at V98.3 is a little bit of everything...with an emphasis on Local News every half hour complimented by ABC News at the top of the hour. Local and National sports, the latest Lottery information and some great music from the 70's to today make the Morning get up and go a whole lot easier.

Dave Taylor Smith brings 41 years of radio experience with 22 years on the Morning Show on WVIN.

His radio career began in October 1970 as a part time DJ at WEHH Elmira Heights-Horseheads; then owned by Frank Saia and now part of the Robert Pfuntner Group of stations; known as the Pembrook Pines Media Group.

Dave’s broadcast journey has taken him to radio stations in Elmira, Corning, Buffalo, Penn Yan and North Carolina.

He is also a full-time advertising representative after he gets off the air. Very much into the community; he is an active member of the Bath Kiwanis Club and has received the club’s Highest Honor; the prestigious Hixon Award for his service to Kiwanis.

He is also a member of the Village of Bath Historic Committee, the Bath Elks, Sons of the American Legion, the Steuben County Historical Society and a member of the Central Steuben Chamber of Commerce.

Dave is a big promoter of the Annual Tyrtle Beach Youth Fund Drive which he helped create in 1992. He has four sons…all young adults 30 years old and up with several grandchildren.

About Jeff Neal: Hi , Thanks for checking out my section of the website! A little about me, I’ve been in radio a long time ( not as long as Dave Taylor Smith). After growing up in NJ, I made some stops in Wilkes Barre, State College, and since 2009 have been here in Bath.

*A Philadelphia Sports Fan… But he does root for the bills!
*Favorite Food without a doubt is pizza
*Must have coffee in the morning and most days in the afternoon as well.
*Hits the gym a few times a week.. See the answer about pizza.. That’s why!
*Plays guitar.. Dreams of being a rock star.
*Really enjoys being in the southern tier… people are great, scenery I amazing, and having tons of fun being on the air playing today hits and yesterdays favorites during the workday.
